The brightest one is NGC 3862: Round, fairly faint, quite even surface brightness but has a bright (1.35m) stellar nucleus. Br4 About 30'' N of the nucleus of -62 (just outside the outer halo of -62) is a stellar point which is actually the compact galaxy IC 2955 (14.0m (v), 0.2'x0.2', Br5) About 3' WNW of the brightest star in the field (in the middle) is NGC 3857 (14.1m (v), 1.1'x0.6', S0?, Br5): A very faint, extremely small, quite contentrated spot. 2 galaxies are visible in the SE part of the field. The brighter one is NGC 3867 (13.2m (v), 1.5'x0,6', S?, Br4): Quite nice. Somewhat concentrated, size about 1.2'x0.6'. PA about 150°. Next to -67 is the fainter galaxy NGC 3864 (15.1m (p), 0.9'x0.7', S?, Br5): Very faint and small, a bit concentrated.1
