Brightness: 2, 2 Alt: Description: DO 40 40x: faint, but obviously exists as a group. 80x: 15 stars mag 10...13. Own size 8'. The brightest stars are in a row of 3 stars on the N edge + a lone one on the S side. DO41 Not well defined like Do40. Two groups are visible near the catalogue place. 1) About 15 stars mag. 9..12 (most are faint) S and E of the bright star in the center of the field. Size about 8'. 2) the whole E side of the field. This area includes a chain of bright (10m) stars which runs from the 1) area towards SE and then turns towards N. The size of this group is 17' = much bigger than the cat. size. At 40x this group stands out quite well while 1) was not seen. Berk 85 was looked for but not seen (place from Megastar). Maybe group 1) is Berk 85 and 2) = Do41.
