Brightness: 4, 5 Alt: 60° Description: NGC 3917: Edge-on. About 2.7'x0.9', slightly broader and brighter in the middle. There is at least one very faint stellar brightening in the center. NGC 3931: Small (25''). A mag. 14 stellar core surrounded by a vF diffuse glow. Faintly visible without averted vision as a stellr object.
