Good but severe problems with dew. Brightness: 3 Alt: 35° Description: An obvious but very poor cluster. About a dozen stars mag. 10...12 in a mini-Bootes formation. The brightest star 'Arcturus' is on the NE edge. The two 7th mag. stars on the E and W edges are plotted in Uranometria. Coordinates OK. Orid. descr J. Herschel (1833): "A v poor cluster 8th class."
