Brightness: Alt: 20° Description: Orig. descr: J. Herschel (1833): "A cl; poor; loose; irreg. fig; star 10...12m." There is a faint grainy glow exactly at the place where this cluster should be. (See the other observation of this cl.) But J.H.'s description gives the magnitude of stars as 10..12. There is a group of stars which fits at 19h 17.2m -00° 45': About 15 stars mag. 10..12 within 7'. Ring-like. The drawing is centered on this group.
