Brightness: 4 Alt: 50° Description: Very interesting, SNR? An almost perfect ellipse. The N edge is brightest but also thinnest. The edge brightening grows fainter and broader towards south and almost disappears on the SE side. The nebulosity within the outer ring is very faint but still detectable. Without the O-III filter only the brightest arc from E to W was visible. Easy with averted vision but barely held otherwise.
