Two physically very different but similar-looking objects within 1° NGC 6939: Easy but not well resolved: About half a dozen mag. 11 stars and a grainy glow. Diam. 7'. Round. NGC 6946: Brigtness and shape as NCG 6939. Fainter than it's neighbour. Slightly concentrated. A triangle of 3 stars is visible on the ESE edge.
