Weather: Moon very bright and near M44. This makes it possible
to draw it with a 8-incher :-)

Description: O=orange, V=green, O1=orange, double, sep. about
10''. A very large and bright open cluster, easily visible to
the unaided eye. Bright in the 8x30 finder (almost in the same
field as the Moon!). Fills the whole field with 40x. Oblong N-S.
About 80 stars.
