Brightness: Alt: Description: The brightest galaxy in the field is NGC 4874 (11.6m(v), 2'x2', E0+, Br3): Strongly concentrated but no stellar nucleus. NCG 4889 (11.5m(v), 2.9'x1.9', E4+, Br3): Elliptical 2:3, slightly concentrated towards a faint stellar nucleus. NGC 4864 (13.5m(v), 0.6'x0.3', E2, Br5): 4' W of NGC 4874. Very faint, but the nonstellar core is quite easy. Elliptical. NGC 4898 (13.5m(v), Ep, Br5): Stellar, mag. 14.5. NGC 4873 (14.0m(v), 0.8'x0.6', SA0, Br5): Stellar, very faint. NGC 4871 (14.1m(v), 0.7'x0.5', SA0, Br5): Stellar, very faint but slightly brighter than -73.
