Brightness: Alt: Description: NGC 4169 (12.2m(v), 1.8'x1.0', S0, Br3): Round, 1.2'x1.2'. Strongly concentrated towards a mag. 13,5 stellar nculeus. NGC 4173 (13.6m(b), 5.0'x0.7', SBdm:, Br5): Not concentrated. PA unsure. Very difficult and faintest of 4. NGC 4174 (14.3m (b), 0.8'x0.3', S?, Br4): Round, strongly concentrated. Stellar mag. 14.5 nucleus. NGC 4175 (14.2m (b), 1.8'x0.4', S, Br4): A stellar mag. 14.5 core. Strongly elongated but shape seen only a few times in 1/2 hour. Only slightly easier than -73.
