Brightness: 2 Alt: 45° Description: A very beautiful edge-on spiral galaxy. About 15'x2' with a bright core and slowly fading outer parts. Very thin - needleshaped if any galaxy is. The core seems to be surrounded by slightly darker areas but this may be only a contrast effect.
