Brightness: 4 Alt: 60° Description: A quite faint but beautiful galaxy, (almost) edge- on. Size 6.5'x1', PA 170°. Quite strongly concentrated but no real core. The N part of the disk is somewhat brighter. There is a non-stellar knot in the N part near the vF star projected against the disk. On the E side of the center there is a star (mag. 13). A thin brighter filament follows the edge of the galaxy towards SSE from the star. There are a few eF stellar brightenings in the outer third of the S part.
