Some fog. Brightness: 2 Alt: Description: Exists. An obvious cluster of about 25 stars mag. 10... with a 7th mag. star on the W edge. Size about 16' and a rough estimate of total magn. gives 8.5. A short row of brighter stars lies near the center. 1°15' due S of NGC 7790. John Herschel (1833): ""A star 7m, the chief of a vL coarse scattered but poor cl which fills the field. Stars 10m." I'm not sure if the object seen is J.H.'s object as there is quite a difference in the coords. Mine are RA: 23h 58.0m Dekl: +60° 05'
