Distribution files for tn3270 for the Macintosh tn3270 Version 2.3d7 November 15, 1989 This package consists of tn3270 for the Macintosh and related files. The complete set of distribution files have been combined into a single StuffIt archive file using StuffIt 1.5.1. Then the archive file was converted to a text file using BinHex 4.0. The resulting file is available as tn3d7.sithqx. It is also available split into three smaller files, tn3d7.sithqx1 through tn3d7.sithqx3, to avoid problems which sometimes occur transferring large files. Here are the steps for restoring the sithqx files: 1. If you transferred the three smaller files, combine them into the single file tn3d7.sithqx by appending them in order. 2. Download tn3d7.sithqx to the Macintosh. Any file transfer method which supports downloading a text file may be used. 3. On the Macintosh, use BinHex 4.0 or BinHex 5.0 to read tn3d7.sithqx and recover the StuffIt archive file, tn3d7.sit. Recent versions of StuffIt may also be used to do this by choosing the "Decode BinHex File..." item from the "Other" menu. 4. Double-click on tn3d7.sit to run StuffIt and open the archive file. Any of the distribution files may then be extracted. (To extract a file, click on the line describing the file, then on the "extract" button.) The above steps assume you have a copy of StuffIt. If that is not the case, StuffIt is available in BinHex format in the file stfit151.hqx, and in MacBinary format in the file stfit151.bin. The documentation for StuffIt is in the file stfdoc15.hqx. Source for a previous version of tn3270, version 2.2b3 is also available. It is contained in the StuffIt archive file src22b3.sithqx, and is downloaded following the same steps listed above for tn3d7.sithqx. Source for version 2.3 will be available when version 2.3 is complete. The copyright for tn3270 source imposes additional restriction on its use which do not apply to the tn3270 application. Each source file includes the copyright notice. Please read the notice carefully to determine how it applies to your intended use of the source code.
