Thanks for all the help I received ! It seems there is only one kite shop and no WWW site in Vienna... I forwarded the info to our fellow kite-flier in Thailand. Thanks again. This club has its monthly Fly In on Sunday, 14. 7. 1996 in the afternoon at Donauinsel near Floridsdorfer Bruecke (where our traditional spring and autumn festivals are held). At this place you always can find some kiteflyers. On 20.7.1996 and 21. 7.1996 there is a kite festival in Parndorf, Burgendland, 50 km from Vienna. I am sure that a lift can be arranged, because many Austrian kite flyers will go there. During this Parndorf Festival there will be a round of the Austrian Stunt Kite League on 21.7.1996 at 11am. This will be run for experienced and master class in precision league style, the figures are available at Fly High or me. My www kite site is under construction, maybe it is ready soon. I will post it in this forum if it is on the net. Please tell the guy from Tailand that we would like to get in contact with him. There are alsways some kite flyers around the Donauinsel and we could arrange a little kite meeting durring his stay in Vienna. Agreed !...I did not imply anything with the "only one" remark :-) I guess lots of places even have none... It's the quality of service and the kindness of the people in the shop that counts...
