Document: /pub/resources/software/mac/critext: 00Want_to_help_CRI?_1.2.TXT ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wanted: CRI TEXT user feedback If you are a CRI TEXT user and would like to see Christian Research Institute expand its offering of computer-related resources, keep reading. Our first level of need is for an accurate picture of how well our initial computer resources have been received. Many users have received CRI TEXT in ways other than directly from CRI. We wish to determine, as closely as possible, how wide spread CRI TEXT has been circulated worldwide. The more honest feedback we get, the more likely it will be that CRI is encouraged to increase the number and quality of computer-related resources that it offers (i.e., a BBS, a presence on more commercial systems, more software, etc.). Here is how you can help. If you only have enough time to give us a brief response, that's fine, just respond to the questions in level one below. If you can and would really like to give us input, please add responses to the level two questions in your reply to us. Level 1) WHEN and how did you get CRI TEXT? (If by disk, what size and density and where did it from [i.e., "friend," "church," etc.]? If by modem what was the source system, who uploaded it to the source system's library and WHEN was it first uploaded into that library?) What version of CRI TEXT are you now using? What operating system(s) are you now using? If you have a modem, what do you regularly use it for? Level 2) Tell us at any length about your computer experience. (When did you first get started using a computer and why? What sort of system was it? What are you using now? What do you use it for? Specifically, if you use your computer to directly minister to others, please tell us what you are doing.) If you like CRI TEXT, we would like to know what you value most about it in your particular context. Thank-you! Rich Poll Resource Manager, CRI Post Office Box 500 San Juan Capistrano, CA 92693 GEnie address: CRI Internet: rpoll@ctp.org CompuServe: 72642,2555 No phone calls, please. A complete written _record_ of your input is desired. Also, please do not circulate my e-mail addresses above. I am too swamped as it is. PS: This file is a new addition to the CRI TEXT package. Please tell any CRI TEXT users who may not have read this notice that we desire their input.
