Moore From: JWenn To: SF-LOVERS%rutgers:EDU cc: JWenn Someone asked me to do a list of Henry Kuttner books. There's a problem with that. All work done between 1940 and 1958 by either Henry Kuttner or C. L. Moore (they were married) was in some degree a collaboration. Sometimes the partner wasn't credited, sometimes they were, and most often they used a psudonym (Lewis Padgett begin the most popular of many). A bibliographer could go crazy trying to properly separate the credit on all the books. I'm not willing to go that far. So I'm giving you two book lists for the price of one. I'm breaking down the list by who was listed as the author on the book. Be aware that it was probably a collaboration. That being said, Kuttner & Moore were great writers. One of the major reasons they used so many pseudonyms was to avoid filling an issue of some SF magazine with their stories. And such great stories! Vintage Season, Mimsy Were the Borogoves, The Proud Robot, The Twonky, No Woman Born and Shambleau. [A] == Anthology. (A bunch of stories written by other people) [C] == Short Story Collection.
