She does quite good SF ("A Different Light" and "The Sardonyx Net"), but I prefer her fantasy trilogy. And it really is a trilogy. Each book develops a world situation, and then resolves it. The next book takes place ~100 years later, where the consequences of the previous book have developed to their logical conclusion, and the people of the previous books are a hazy story, if remembered at all. All of her books have a rich mixture of elements: characterization, plot and setting. Does anyone know what she's doing right now? [C] == Short Story Collection. [CP] == Chapbook (a very short book, or pamphlet).. /John arpa: JWenn.ESAE@Xerox.com ivegotthisshockingpainrightbehindtheeyeshaveyouconsideredamputation-ly ---------------------------------------------------------------- Lynn, Elizabeth A.
