Trying to collect few samples of real instruments. I'm not interested in electronic noise or such. EPS files are playable in any system which can play the files as a raw audio file (22050 Hz, 16 bit, mono). The order of 16 bit's bytes is different from the standard (used in CD, for example). Kurzweil files are currently unknown to me. I have heard that they may use Kurzweil's base samples as building blocks in which case the samples are not useful. See also ftp.funet.fi:pub/sounds/wav/samples/ for Proteus and Roland samples in WAV format. I play these files as a raw files and thus I have to remove the header in my own program somehow. Would like to get a real conversion program or information on the file structures used in these files. Juhana Kouhia kouhia@nic.funet.fi
